Geographical Location
Buddhism originated in Nepal and spread throughout North and Far East Asia. Mahayana Buddhism is seen mostly in Tibet, China, Mongolia, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Nepal, and Indonesia. Today, there are over 360 million Buddhists in the world, making Buddhism the fourth largest religion in the world!
